As of January 2025, Nigeria's food and beverage sectors have collectively reached a market capitalization of N10.84 trillion, reflecting significant growth in these industries. The beverage sector, encompassing breweries and distilleries, contributed N2.06 trillion to this figure. Leading companies such as Nigerian Breweries Plc and International Breweries Plc were major contributors, with market capitalizations of N997.65 billion and N908.77 billion, respectively.

The food products sector emerged as the largest contributor, boasting a market capitalization of N8.04 trillion. BUA Foods Plc led this segment with an impressive N7.47 trillion. Other notable companies included Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc, with a market cap of N400.85 billion, and Honeywell Flour Mills Plc, at N72.24 billion.
